Herk,

As a P.S., are all the AA furloughs back onboard yet ? If not, do you know how many are still bypassing recall ?

And...how much non-flow street hiring is happening ?

Thanks again.

Nope.... No idea.

Re: furloughs... Just under 900 deferred recall / recall rights expire in May 2016. No idea how many will come back - guesstimates about 10-15% seem common.

Re: OTS non flow / no idea... Saw some info graphics recently that about 50% are flows... But really I dunno.

See you in 2017.

Herk Bubba,

If you pop in for a look, would you happen to have the latest AA mandatory pilot retirement figures ?

Thanks.

Thanks, Herc.

As an aside, I recently saw a statement (and I think a chart) showing that AA is going to increase the amount of off-the-street, civilian-only hiring in 2020. Now, of course, I can't remember where I saw it but I think it came from an internal AA memo. Would you happen to have that info ?

It’s a moot point now. Hiring ceased ...

Herk,

Thanks for the chart. Yes, it's all a moot point now. It's gotten crazy.

A large chunk of the old air traffic controllers have retired in the last 10 years. How about we use that as THE reason why aviation has been safer in the last five years
