You don't have your own (Tradewinds) Sim Instructors?

Now we do, when they started the B-747 program last year the ground and sim instructors were contract people.

One of the guys from my new hire class is going to be a 747 instructor. He is a really sharp guy with good 747 international experience. He has already been instructing in the DC-10 too. From what I saw of him in indoc I'd bet he's going to do a great job.

Heard about him.

I thought about being an instructor and check airman too, but decided not to.

Way too lazy, but with 14 years on the whale I could probably teach something.

Maybe later...They changed the deal, the first few check airmen on the 747 got a pretty sweet gig but not anymore.

Yep, TT. I dont him that well, but he seems like a good guy.
 
So Csy What Are You Saying That South Americans Need Easier Courses I Dont Think So Bud. The Latin Carriers Dry Lease These Sims And Use There Own Instructors. Or Are You Saying That If You Pay At Aeroservices Theyll Pass You As Long As You Pay.

Some of the Miami based training have been a joke for years.

Won't know about Idaho, never trained there.

Any idea how long it take to go from SO to FO on the 300 for a newhire? How low time were the guys hired as SO over the last year or so?
Also, is anything coming about the ANC base rumor? Any info would be appreciated.
