For all you Flight Options folks --- Here is more great reading from Management by Trust.

"Compensation is the most important trust-building tool a manager has." pg 71

"Recognize that employees are the foundation of a service company." pg 47

"Behave in a way that seems arbitrary or inconsistent and you can practically see the walls of defensiveness go up before your eyes" pg 54

More to follow.......

Billboard suggestion--

"Compensation is the most important trust-building tool a manager has."
Ken Ricci, Flight Options CEO

Mr. Ricci needs to finish construction on our contract.
Flight Options pilots are among the lowest paid
in the fractional industry.

I envision this being located somewhere that KR and upper management will see regularly. Maybe they'll get the message then. Hang in there!

How about this---

Kenn Ricci, management author, advising others

PARITY SEEKING FLIGHT OPTIONS PILOTS
ARE LONG OVERDUE FOR RECOGNITION

"It's time for the CEO to put money where his mouth is!"
family members of the hard-working pilots, expressing frustration

If you look back when he was FIRST said to be coming back (has it been a year or two?...argh, it seems an eternity) I already posted Alllllllllllll of this crap from his book....Guess what? No one cared.... Because Scheeringa was such an OBVIOUS nightmare most of you (even the gungho down w/the ship union militants) were too busy thinking the slick Tony Robbinsesque saviour was going to make things all better again and give us all the contract we'd been waiting for. 'Cause he looooovesssss his itty bitty baby of a company....
BZZZT! Wrong. Like.I.Said.:smash:
SFO program anyone?

Suddenly, everyone's all interested in his quotes from the book WAYYYYY too far down at the bottom of the spiral now.
I guess you believe all the "retention of employess" stats too, even though the vast majority of our fellow employees are GONE?

What a cluster.
