Another Boeing issue... 747 goes to battery power.

I know that one design flaw on the 767 (but not 757) is that if you are down to battery power you have 30 min to get the gear down...otherwise it's a gear up landing! Does anyone know if this is the case with the 747?
 
But at least with a Boeing, you can still fly the airplane. With an Airbus, not so sure.

In the Bus, you would just drop the RAT and go to Emergency Electrical Configuration. As I went from Boeing to Airbus, I thought the RAT was a pretty good idea. Boeing tends to favor the 30 min of battery time.
