That said... it's all contingent on the pilots' contract. And like I said above, we don't give a RAT'S ASS about 787s until we get a contract we deserve. So they can take their "contingency plan" and cancel orders all they want. If they need a new airplane that badly, they will get it - but not at our cost!

GMAFB. I had to laugh when I read that. Yeah, sure, AA management. You're going to cancel your multi-billion dollar order of this extremely modern and efficient aircraft if your pilots cost you "a couple of extra dollars" in 787 rates. Right.

No doubt the APA was laughing their ass off when they read that completely transparent threat. Well AA guys, at least your management buys you airplanes and then threatens you. At our airline they do the same thing, except for the aircraft orders part.
