We got word from the company that effective immediately, they are accepting resumes for new hires. All of our pilots that were furloughed are either back, or declined recall.

If you're interested, fax your resume to 817-963-2004, and they'll send you an application. Minimums are still 1500/300, or 500/100 for aviation university graduates with a letter of rec. from the dean.

Eagle's hiring! great................

sweet

Under 2003 rates, starting pay is $20.60/hr. After probation, the pay for FOs is $23.24 for the Saab and ATR and $29.21 for the jets.

Right now, new hires may get the ATR in SJU or the Saab in LAX. Some new hires have gone right into the jet, and usually they get LGA or BOS.

Can anyone confirm the 500/100 minimums with a letter of recommendation from a University Dean?

Thanks.

yes I can confirm it...I read the email myself from a chief pilot.

Any truth to the rumor that 50% of the furloughees declined recall. If so, why?

Oh, nevermind. I think I know the answer. Pay and work rules suck ass.

It's time for one national pilot union. It's criminal that there are flight attendants that make over $70K a year at the same time there are pilots responsible for peoples lives that make less than $20K a year.
