I have no doubt that the U.S. could "take" pakistan. But would the price of a nuke going off in New York or Washington D.C. be worth the price of such escalation?

There is an old saying that goes something like this: "Close doesn't count, except in nuclear warfare and horse shoes"

One Nuke detonated anywhere in the US, regardless of size or location, would absolutely devastate our economy, and our way of life for the rest of yours and my lifetime. Be careful what you wish for.....

Am.Decap.

I am not sure I should even add to anything here, I am sure my sentiments have been expressed by you all.

However, this is not the time to lose our own heads over this. What we have here is a failure to communicate: TORTURE to a U.S. American means posing naked; to an Iraqi it means cutting your head off.

Now that we understand each other..........Who would you rather have living next door to you; someone who would like to put your daughter in Playboy Magazine or someone who wants to kidnap your son and cut his head off?

It is a war.

Once rage sets in, you've lost.

Quickly?!?!

Well... at least he died quickly...
Quickly? Not hardly.

Screaming, wailing, moaning ...

Hacking, sawing, twisting, wrenching, tugging on his head ...

Brutal doesn't begin to describe the murder.

Beheading, decapitation, and execution are far too civil words to describe the act. This was not a humane single swing of a sharp blade. This was not a swift, painless end to the man's life. It was brutal and barbaric. Wild animals have more regard for life than those five hooded (spineless) abominations. These murderers deserve to be loathed by all mankind, retgardless of race or religion.

quickly? you can't be serious.

There are many ways to describe the horrific slaughter of this innocent man, but ABOSOLUTELY NONE of them begin with "At least ..."

Despicable.

He was dead well before they got his head all the way off. The movie is fairly bad once they pull him over but he dies in about 15 seconds, they don't have him linger at all or bleed him out. (I deleted the movie after watching it and can't redownload it so I can't record the time it takes to kill him)

I never said he died painlessly or cleanly.

15 seconds can be the longest amount of time in your life while you are getting your head sawed off by sick fuc ks chanting "allah is great".

allah is great indeed. What a bunch of BS. I will not be able to view the video until I get home from work, but I did listen to the audio. If anyone has doubts about why the followers of radical islam need to be wiped off the face of the earth, they ought not have any now. If anyone doubts the efforts to pull these animals into the 21st century, they should be gone now.

About the whole "pull out of the middle east" thing. Yes, lets. Let's just pull out now so that they can continue to live in their sub-human world, all while Iran develops nuclear weapons and the methods to deliver them to the the good 'ole US of A. That's a world I want to live in.

Don't think for a second that if any of these fellers got ahold of a nuke and the means of delivering such device, that they would hesitate for a second before unleashing megadeath on our nation.

Terrorists need to be eradicated

Well said...

This is not surprising at all. If the terrorists had their way, millions of us would be beheaded, infected with anthrax, blown up, or gased. The only thing terrorists will understand is our military destroying them which is exactly what needs to happen. I will not forget the 911 victims, Mr. Berg, or the hundreds of others murdered by these "abominations".

Perfect peace to a radical muslim is when all their enemies are dead. They even eat their own - all for the "cause".

They also know they cannot go toe to toe with their foes in the traditional military sense so they resort to terrorism - the chicken poop way of doing battle with your enemies.
There is no compromising with them.

Perhaps it is time for us, to unleash the shock and awe campaign. Show the Islamic radicals, just how much weight our words carry, when we say: Don't fark with us!

Obviously, the radicals have no clue about human rights, so, fight fire with fire!

You sure put a lot of thought into that posting.

WHY THE **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** ARE YOU PEOPLE DOWNLOADING AND WATCHING THAT? THATS **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**ING DISGUSTING.

Why are we downloading it? I personally am downloading it because I am interested in what goes on in the world around me, good, bad, or ugly.

I agree with Jedi, I wanted to see what everyone else in the world was seeing...........it was extremely disturbing though...

The difference between the US and the terrorists, aside from the scale of the acts themselves, is that the army guards were a minority who acted against orders (at least in excess of them) and who will be punished. The terrorist murder of Nick Berg was al-Qaeda policy.

Nick Berg was the first casualty of the media blitz surrounding the army guard's mistreatment (not torture) of Iraqi prisoners, but he won't be the last.

I don't think that most Iraqis want the murderers of Nick Berg to run their country. In fact, I heard on the radio that a thousand or so Iraqis were marching to protest al Sadr.

To win in Iraq, we're going to have to convince the man in the street that we aren't going to abandon them the way we abandoned them in 1991 and the way we abandoned so many people around the world. That is going to be hard to do given the Democratic election year rhetoric.

I too, am on board with being able to see first hand what is causing the furor around the world. I don't want my news sanitized....I don't need to be protected from what our leaders are strong enough to take, but think I am to weak to see what they see.

I've watched it, it's gruesome, and I did not save it to my hard drive. One viewing was all that was required to get the total, gruesome impact of the barbarism shown.

Sorry, Blue, the election this November is an American election, not a Democrat election. That takes place at the national conventions of both the GOP and Dems.

Be careful that your signature at the bottom of your posts don't become applicable to yourself

Not really, just emotion. Not unlike the way I felt when I saw those towers fall down on 9/11.

Sorry Jarhead, but that was my initial feeling of anger right after seeing the footage.

When I have had a chance to simmer down and mull it over perhaps I will be able to comment in a more enlighted manner.

Here's some related food for thought...

I am glad to be absent from these halls of banter, but here I am now with a true recent story that is relative to the battle that we face, for those of you familiar with Rick Mathes.

ALLAH OR JESUS

Stay Safe and May God Bless America

Allah or Jesus? by Rick Mathes

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security
clearance.

During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic,
Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their belief systems.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of
the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed
my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams
and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by
killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case,
can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill
everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?" The expression on his face
changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his
hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics
to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"

The Imam was speechless.

I continued, "I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your
followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me
in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants
you to be with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

* * * *

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy
with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs.

I think everyone in the US should be required to read this, but with the liberal justice system, liberal media,
and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized. Please pass this on to all your email contacts.

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well known leader in prison ministry.
