ASA is pinching the buffalo nickle until it s##ts.......... They're running skimp right now because they are shopping. We've got a lot of "irons in the fire" for future flying and we're trimming our block hour costs for marketing purposes. Picking up more flight attendants isn't going to happen right now. Right nor wrong- this can be deliberated until you're blue in the face- it's just not going to happen. What this means for US, as pilots, is that if things dont' go smoothly, we're going to take a beating next month and the month after with crappy schedules that mimic those of the flight attendants, so the pairings do match up. My suggestion would be to do what YOU can to help things run smoothly- not for the sake of ASA, but for the sake of yourself for the future of your schedules....
