Message from CS – Many of you are talking about the story in The Commercial Appeal (Memphis) today that refers to a recent dispute with ALPA related to Colgan. The headline and the story lead you to believe that ALPA has won a major victory (not true) and some people could interpret the result to be a merger between Pinnacle and Colgan. That is definitely not true, nor will it be. There is no plan or intention to combine the two companies. The law classifies this as a “minor dispute” and this decision will have no impact whatsoever on Pinnacle’s operations or Pinnacle’s People, including our Pilots. "minor dispute" is a term that basically means the issue gets resolved via the system board instead of the courts.

In this case, since the company appears to be refusing to abide by the binding decision of the arbitrator, the courts may have to get involved to enforce the decision.

So I read these posts and from what I know about the arbitrator's decision, not one person on this board has any clue what the decision means. All the decision held is that the holding company has to negotiate with ALPA regarding a fence agreement. It does not mean that the Qs go to PNCL. The company had refused to negotiate and the arbitrator said that the issue has to be negotiated.

The decision said a lot more than that. Your information is faulty. But since you just signed up today and your very first post repeats the management talking points, chances are good that you're just a management plant anyway.

Actually I am relaying info given to me by an ALPA contract administrator from another property. You can assume whatever you like about me, I am just comparing what I was told from a very reliable source with what I am seeing on this board.

What is the CA initials and/or what property. If thats the case... then why not call PCLs CA or the MEC?
