So what is your big picture? Nothing matters as long as I keep my left seat?

He means we have an 18 page list of other stuff that is far more embarrassing than per diem that we need to address first. I think current per diem rate is number 342.

So you don't eat anything during the day? Or is it you can't afford food? Not spending a single night away is good, assuming everyone lives in LAS or is forced to move there.

P.S. per diem is pay, dumb a$$

It's not enough money to matter, we eat at home, not at expensive hotel restaurants every night. I think I'll spend my time and effort negotiating for something that actually matters to us. And since we're the most profitable airline in the country, we have a pretty damn good chance of getting it.

again, I seriously wish you luck with negotiating. After you guys gain a professional level of pay and benefits, then we'll compare profits. Your airline is profitable because you subsidize it.

Not true! Raising our pay to above Southwest Airlines rates would only impact our profit margin approximately 3.2 - 4.1%; that's hardly subsidizing anything. You have no idea what you're talking about. We would still maintain profit margins in the mid to high 20% range. This is one argument that the unions are going to have to abandon because it doesn't apply to our company. At the same time, it will help us in negotiating if management tries to claim it will jeopardize their margins. Try again.

Some day you'll grow up and realize how idiotic you sound. By your logic, UAL is losing money because of their overpaid pilots.

Pull your head out of your ass man.. It's got to be hard breathing with your nogin that far up your cake hole!

So go do it. Raise your pay and above SWA. We're all waiting.
