I met a crew last weekend in PUJ, went and talked to them. Seemed like a pretty nice bunch of people. Didn't know you all were flying there.

How senior is the PIE base going? Is this a seasonal base, or a new permanent one? How many crews are staffing this base?

PIE is a permanent base. Junior for FOs and middle for Captains. I think we have 2 airplanes down there right now with another 1 or 2 by years end.

All I know is our LF out of PIE is in the 90s and if you can believe the company, advanced bookings for the next 3 and 6 month periods are very strong.

How do they assign seniority within a new-hire class? I'm looking to apply if there is a good shot I could hold SFB fairly quickly. What are the odds of this? When are more interviews and class dates scheduled to begin?

The Allegiant bases do not open and close. The bases are stable. The cities sometime open and close. The company has demostrated the willingness to pull-out of a market when it doesn't preform as anticipated, moving the resources into a better market.

Seniority in class is assigned by birthdate. I applied with the same plan, SFB ASAP. In my case, it is looking very good. I am tentatively slated for PIE in May (straight out of IOE), and should be able to hold SFB in a month or two if things continue.

As far as interviews and class, the interviews continue for class in April. I would guess another class by summer's end?

Going well, especially since we are finished in the classroom! I'll be back next month for Sim.
