Allegiant Air to go public

WASHINGTON, May 15 (Reuters) - Allegiant Travel Co., on Monday said it is planning an initial public offering of as much as $100 million in common stock.
The company hired Merrill Lynch & Co., Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. and Raymond James to underwrite the IPO, according to a preliminary offering document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
It is seeking a Nasdaq listing under the symbol "ALGT."

Yes it does. It just currently pays what the majors will be paying in 2 years.

I'll take a $3 Sprite and some $2 crackers please.


Of course, I'm only jabbing at Allegiant. When I rode on them recently I was treated very well and the quick direct flight was a refreshing change.

Latest word is 20 Upgrades and 40 new hires. All growth is in SFB and the new Florida Domicile (PBI or PIE) which will open around december.

Congrats to Chperpilot on the upgrade. Wow less than a year?? Close anyway..

Yea, ok...and where else do you propose to post this? Oh wait, we've had this discussion before in here haven't we. Seems that most of the noise is from "barbie jet" F/O's without the quals to get hired at Allegiant. Let me guess, you'll be left seat 747 at UAL next week right, can't have Allegiant in the same posting group as you THEN!!!!! Heavens the taint of it!!

Perhaps instead of bashing where someone puts a posting that is obviously newsworth for most real professionals on this board, you could try contributing something worth-while and helpfull.
