Will they notify you either way...or only send out interview invitations and keep the rest waiting in vain?

Last time they sent out emails to the "most unqualified." basically if you didn't meet the basic qualifications or achieve a cut-off score you were sent a thanks but no thanks e-mail. If you don't get an email it means you are still in the "running". A lot of people were cut last time around because they went through the yes no questions too quickly (are you not unqualified for this position?)

Revised up from 66ish. I've heard that we've had an inordinate number pilots out for medical. The increase is close to that number.

We don't have very many people still out on voluntary furloughs, etc. I would expect most if not all to be new hires.

Thanks for the bit of hope. For me, Alaska Airlines is the only place that I really want to be yet I cannot get looked at. I have done everything that I can to get looked at except move to the Pacific Northeast before being offered a job. I would move in a minute if given a job offer with Alaska Airlines.

Is that kind of like the Canadian NW Territories that are in the East? J/K. Good luck in hunt. Go to all the job fairs you can including OBAP (sp?) I hear it REALLY helps to get a face to face.

Are they still giving preference to Horizon FO's? Seems a little unfair, they require PIC time from everybody else?? Never understood that!
