Now that gas is back down - I might be able to fill my Corolla tank w/ another Costco card. Last year I think I pumped 5 gals of fuel.

discounted 737 type rating on pilot web page today. $2900 bucks to remove the SIC restriction.

Problem is you need 1000 hours in type...would the furlough guys have anything close to this?

No.

Only flew 275 hours in the last year.
Perhaps ALPA can barter a deal for us.

I thought the same thing when I saw that posted on the pilot website... trying to make money off the very same people you're furloughing. Just brilliant!

Yes, the economy is not too great, but we're in a much better position than many other airlines. When will they realize the sky really is not falling?
