There is nothing illegal about even AirTran pilots doing it as long as it is not the UNION asking for it.

Yup. Don't make the same mistakes we did. Don't put anything up on an internet forum that could be projected on a 6' x 10' screen in a Federal courtroom and make you look really, really bad.

No need to put anything in writing that might be misconstrued by an unfriendly judge. Also, our management team put hidden cameras in areas where people thought they weren't being watched. Might want to keep that in mind. Check out the ceiling of your flight operations to see if there is any new "bumps" in the ceiling tiles. It sounds paranoid, but it just happened here at UAL.

Picketing our corporate customers really pissed off our management team.

I hope you guys can properly express your displeasure with your management.

The problem with "slowing down", is that you need everyone to be on board.

Not if you're at the front of the line. All it takes is one person to taxi slow, and because of that, everyone behind them must taxi at the same speed. It's not like there is a passing lane or anything. So, you don't need everyone on board, you just need the individual at the front of the pack to be willing to make a difference.

Perhaps, it's time to resurrect the old "Army of One" posts, to remind ourselves about how much control we, as pilots, have over our flights.
