The thinking that SWA will buy Air Tranny??

Thats some hope that will just never happen.
Not really worried about it either way. Both are strong profitable companies on their own. If they could put the two route networks together without much labor drama, they would be a strong profitable company too.

Air Tranny

The best "National" Airline in America Today !!!!!

and >> you don't even have to buy a type rating to work there!

and that XM radio is awesome when you can actually listen to a song between Captain briefs on the PA system.

Going down that road again there Punky Brewster? Try real hard to educate yourself as to what defines a Major. Hint: Something to do with amount of revenue generated in a year.

After you get that done, if you even can, you'll understand why AirTran is a Major, this is a Majors board, and your 5 minutes of obscurity are over. But you should already know that since you apparently buy tickets on them all the time.

A major is defined as per 1970's rules. This is the year 2010.

Air Tranny ain't no major

Sounds like you need to pull out your old "Eastern" FOM and do some reading!

Looks like class is in recess over at the PFT academy. What are you little wannabes working on today? NDB tracking perhaps?

Ok, I'll spell it out for you Punky...

Major airline

Definition:

US designation for an air carrier with annual operating revenue of more than one billion dollars

Is the union going to do any road shows, letters, emails etc to communicate to the membership regarding the strike vote issues before the vote occurs?
