I was watching Airport 1977 the other day with my fiance (who is also a pilot)... he happens to be younger than me by quite a few years. I had no idea he didn't realize that Airplane was a spoof on the Airport series! hilarious.

Airplane is a classic. I also have all of the Naked Gun movies and all of the Police Squad episodes. Great stuff.
