flyinacez said:I interviewed last week and have heard nothing aswell! Seems like the new hires are usually called the next day or so. Looks like a letter will be arriving unfortunately, I beleive the majority of responses in form of a letter are not good onesWhat day did you interview? I was on Thursday, 26th.
You should be able to reapply. Call Craig, he will let you know if you are eligable to reapply.flyinacez said:I got the bad news today, I'm not Airnet materialOk so where does one go from here...Ram air, Flight Express, any other rejects out there that picked up the pieces and found a good job let me know please. What's the possibility of many disgruntled regional airline guys swamping airnet with higher qualification resumes in their rush to get out of the regionals?
Guillotine007 said:if by higher qualifications you mean "did zero handflying in a glass cockpit the last two years and would never make it out of training"....no, i don't think we get many apps from disgruntled airline guys. But it would be fun to watch them crash repeatedly in the sim.

We do more hand flying than you think
Guillotine007 said:based on your profile...i politefully disagree
Why are you so concerned about their ability to hand fly an airplaneGuillotine007 said:if by higher qualifications you mean "did zero handflying in a glass cockpit the last two years and would never make it out of training"....no, i don't think we get many apps from disgruntled airline guys. Yeah but those frascas are touchy. It's probably harder than running a checklist, which is easier than the hand flying that he obviously doesn't do unless we are counting M$FT flight simulatorGuillotine007 said:the sim isn't hard to start thankfully
