is there any new news about airman flight school?

The suit against them is now up to 90 people, but will likely wane to 60-70 or so as its sustaining costs over the next few months exceed or render impractical the pursuit of losses for some folks.

The AG will be getting inundated with complaints over the next couple weeks.

Discovery is a long and tedious process. Hopefully, once the details start coming into focus and/or the AG starts sniffing this out, things will heat up in court.

It's not just the students who are affected, what about the instructors and staff?

There are a few instructors named in the lawsuit, I believe.

[Edit: As plaintiffs, of course :D]

Good Point. I believe last I heard is that Will is trying to finish those up who were in the I/II program and not charging them for his services. (not including aircraft rental). Majority of instructors were lower time from what I have gathered so they likely will continue to instruct elsewhere.

Makes sense since most of them bought the "upgrade" course (which include the CMEL) and never got their CMEL. I even know a few that just got a CFII or CFI that didn't get both...dang...that's gotta suck

You can have a CFII independent of the CFI? How would that work??
