my class almost 2 years ago had a 23 & 25 yr old and a few in their late 20's, lots of 30+, and the oldest was 52

At least you have 13K flight hours to show for age. I'll be 41 this year, and look what I've got, and that's JetBlue calculated time too. Ah flying for the military....I log way too much time at my desk. :(

So, 1 Apr huh. I might as well apply. Nothing else happening.
 
In my class, MAY 01, we had folks whose ages ranged from 24 to 54. Average age was 35.
There were 4 women in class.
62% Civilian, 38% Military.
We had one person drop out to go to AMR.
The class was known as the "Wedding Class", because the drop out stated he wanted to attend a wedding and not go to class on the weekend. He was given an option to come to the next class so that he could make the wedding. To this he said he had another wedding to go to.

Not that it matters at this point, but I heard that when AA was hiring, they would not hire someone who would be unable to upgrade prior to 60. Any truth to that?
