I could be wrong as I have been many times in the past but I don't think any airlines for an ICAO country can fly into the US. Seem that I recall an American fellow, flying for JAL that had to overfly the US from I think YVR down to MEX simply becauseof this rule. I know that none of the guys flying for Air Atlanta Icelandic can fly into the US if they are over 60. Does anyone have a definitive answer for this?

Did a very brief stint with a Canadian outfit. Among the pilots was a 63 year old ex-EAL guy. On his schedule was a note..."No US flights". That's all I know.

Who did you work with up there. I did alot of AirTransAt 757 IOE's and did get a Canadian ALTP.

By the way last month first civ. space flight pilot was Mike Melvin (age 63), hope he had one of the young F/Os for help. Sorry forgot he was solo.
