There's no way it's real, just some dork's imagination at work.

The polished aluminum is classic but fairly high maintenance to keep looking sharp. Although there's "retro" 757 and 737's flying about with the old thin red stripe that look great as well.

Hey Gorilla, the Retro 757 actually is back in its regular colors due to expensive repainting... but the "Astrojet" 737 is still out there and looks great! I think we should adopt the "lightning bolt" paint scheme for good.

Anyways, the "dork" who came up with that paint scheme must be french, as pointed out above.

However, I still think the last TWA paint scheme was one of the best ever.

Absolutely! It is a shame that classy black/gold/red on white was flying for such a short time. One of TWA's aircraft sat on the ramp near TW hanger at GSO for a while back in 2002, then one day I drove by and it was all white. :(

Sure do miss those colors and the gold 'map' logo. But then again ... I miss seeing L1011s flying, so what do I know. :erm:

in your opinion...

in my opinion, a polished aluminum airplane is pretty nice. And if I had to pick an actual paintjob, I'd pick this one. ;)

maybe that's Eagle's new scheme...isn't that a chicken on the tail?

Did you ever notice that every American Airlines plane has a blue chicken on the tail....AEs are blue and red....look real hard, and you will see it.

...Yea and nevermind that AMR doesn't even have 777-300's!

I believe there are no less than THREE AMR chickens. There's a retro-chicken which I really like... good detail, and lifelike. There's the current standard AA chicken, which has decent detail. Then there's the Eagle chicken, which is a blocky and stylized bird.

Crew uniforms and ID's have their AA/AE chicken on their hats and ID's. Without the Eagle chicken, there's no way to tell if the guy in the crew bus is Eagle, except for his backpack, ipod, and black tennis shoes.

I keed, I keed! ;)
