personally i don't understand why we don't merge the two lists and be done with it. I never understand why we have one group furloughing while another is hiring. I guess someday we will have leadership in the apa and amr that will look at how ridiculous such an scenario is.

So what? They can keep the pay for anything with 70 seats or less right where it is. And when you move up the seniority and can hold an aircraft with greater than 70 seats, then mainline pay would kick in. That way pilot costs don't increase. Then there would be no scope issues, infighting between APA and ALPA, and finally a career path to mainline for the younger folks once again.
