And dude, just so you know- there are people flying regional jets who don't belong in a 152 (women get many breaks in life). So, the moral of the story is do not- absolutely do not give up and take their offer ASAP!

Well....someone had to be a bitter a$$wipe in this thread. Yay, Oakum Boy!

It's a waste of time......."attitude, heading, watch your speed"....."heading" "altitude"......"watch your speed"...."where ya going"....."attitude, heading, watch your speed".......

Flight instructing isn't practical for prepping the kid for a jet, in my opinion.

Don't be so sure. You'll use those very same words again when you slide over to the left seat. Any 121 aircraft at a major airport will make most 300-hour newhires feel like they're on lesson 1 of the PPL.

Read the opening chapters in "Fly the Wing" by
Captain Webb. I lost a CFI job a long time ago and the subsequent CFI position led to a twin led to a turboprop led to a jet. You can't predict all the roads you go down, only that you make the best of it. It can be a really wild ride. PS: fix your scan.
