starting in January. 16 a month for 6 months. Too many FO's have bid fare thee well. (for the 200's)

Be part of the few ..the proud ... the underpaid!

Simply the best but less than average.

For what flying? Delta is not looking to add any growth, certainly in the 50 seat market and is capped on the 76 seaters. Not too many other opportunities for growth out there.

Interesting how 9E has rumors of hiring when ASA, Comair, Mesaba and Republic all have furloughed pilots. But, whatever.

The first guy just told you. We have lost a bunch of FO's. That is the reason. They can't staff DTW. OK?
 
Ok, I was responding to the lots of shinny new jets and upgrades post. Ok?
 
Still doesn't quite make sense. Why don't they displace more from the 900 side? Or, why start having new pilots sometime in March? If they can get through November and December of this year, then I would think they would be good until May or so.

IF it does happen, isn't the PNCL puppy mill to get the first crack? Would it not make sense that IF there are openings, those would have to go through the puppy mill first?

Regardless, hire about 100, when attrition for this year is less than 30?

I wonder, if the 1500 rule gets passed in Congress, will that torpedo any chance of a Pinnacle training academy?

I'd be hard pressed to see that bill passed as it currently is. If it does, I'd bet there will be some loopholes for airline funded and/or supported training academy's.
