The fun is just starting. At least the East is use to it. Nothing new. 165 Easties and 35 Westies out the door.

Again, is this what they call; 'Shrinking to Profitability'!!!

I guess when they shrink to '0' they will nolonger be 'losing' money???

More BS with most airlines running LF in the 80s, and many talking of a probable rebound in air travel next year; you just have to wonder???

Thank God, they (alpa, swapa, etc), really pushed through that whole 'age 65' thing!!!!

For what it worth.

This is sad, I just saw this on CNBC (or Bloomberg). Sounds like the old fable of burning the furniture to heat the house.

I wonder if we will see United come into the picture? CEO Tilton came out today and said he expects "more airline mergers to occur" in the industry.

Yeah, tore down a la Pan Am.

When an airline starts looking like an aircraft and gate broker instead of flying passengers to make money something has to change.

Good luck to all involved.

Wow, they finally did it. Been saying they'd close LGA and BOS for years, maybe they'll change their minds before its done...
