I feel so proud to be ignored by another union loving pilot earning his paycheck on the backs of all those furloughed NJ pilots that his union didn't protect.

Reality is you picking a sensitive subject such as this to push your agenda. Shows a lot about your character.

This isn't a sensitive subject for me.

I work non-union. I'm not furloughed.

The only times in my career I got laid off was when I worked at union carriers.

No union.. no worries.

Nope, not sensitive to me at all.

As soon as you work for a union, you no longer can speak for yourself, you are at the mercy of the same people that you trusted to run the union that didn't protect you and got you furloughed.. the union.

Those high seniority pilots are still flying making a full paycheck, right?

Nope.. no mercy for those little folks at the bottom of the list.

Character? I'm the only one on this board that always speaks the truth and tells about the dirty underbelly of how unions fail their brotherhood. Yes, I have character.

The union didn't furlough me. The company did. The union did its best to prevent me from getting furloughed. In the end the company made the decision to "correct" it's mistake.

I've been in airline management longer than you've been flying airplanes.

Of course, that's about all you're qualifed to do. I'd hate like hell to see you with responsiblity for more than one airplane at a time.

Anybody that needs a union to think for them like you do would have a tough time with that.

Oh.. your union was supposed to protect you from that furlough... and when the furlough was about to happen because of the high union cost, I saw no efforts to keep you from getting furloughed and redistributing the wealth. The union supports the democratic way of life right up until the money is coming out of the top of the seniority list.
