Hi, Hammer! I post on topic, and my name would appear on threads a lot less often if some on the board would just "get over" my presence here. I agree with you that the thread is not about me, nor do I wish it to be. I also agree that WB is a hypocrite. The money was always there.

A good friend is working with the Flex organizers. BW is a great guy and will do his best by the Flex pilots.
I will look forward to his updates as y'all go thru the process of joining 1108.

I never had any cases of "back stabbing" while I was there (that I know of).

Have you read much about Warren? He doesn't micro manage the companies he acquires. Looks for companies with a decided market advantage - usually number 1 or 2 in their prospective market. Good management (that's certainly subjective) i.e. Santulli - again, it's one's perspective. And lets the managers run the show.

From the ownership side, they sure got NJA pilots to work for nothing for a long time...And that was to WB's advantage.

Pilots have to look out for themselves, and it took them quite a while...

Knowledge of a large work force involved in a contentious contract battle can hardly qualify for micro-managing. Expansion of the fractional business was WB's stated goal. He certainly was aware that the resources were being used to fuel that growth, rather than fairly compensate the pilots. IF (and that's a huge stretch) he wasn't previously "in the know", then having NJ pilots picketing the BH shareholder's meeting in Omaha certainly DID get the message across. Pilots carrying signs that read "NetJets Pilots Seek Livable Wages" was a priceless sight impossible to miss.

He owns NetJets, he doesn't manage/run NetJets. Somebody else is paid to do that. WB speaks in support of the "goals and visions" of said management.

WB's "vision" was to expand NJ Inc world-wide, as a top priority. Knowing pilots had voted to strike over a protracted contract battle hardly constitutes running NJA. Many people in aviation were aware of that piece of news. WB, apparently, supported NJA management in their goal to underpay/overwork pilots, while he used the profits of their labor to fuel his growth engine.
