No reason inparticular..I feel that I should do some good with my flying "skills" instead of catering to the typical private jet owner etc...may appear arrogant but I think I would get some satisfaction knowing I'm helping others out...may seem sappy or foolish...I'm not quite sure...lol...I...
Anyone have any links/info to any humanitarian flying companies? I was hoping to find info on companies that fly around the world..perhaps Africa or the likes...nothing in the US....anyway any info would be appreciated..Thanks! -Josh
My folks used to live there back in the 80's and I don't think much has changed since then eek....don't drink the water..unless it is in a bottle and has been sealed...everyone is nice though! You'll notice a lot of people asking for money and stuff and people trying to help you out...having a...
I fly around New England a bunch and I just make sure they really get the leading edges, flaps, elevator, tail etc.... 30 gal is pretty good for what you got I suppose...even with frost in NE they pour it on...depends on size of plane and amount of snow duh lol....I worked line for 5 years and...
nah no slot needed they are simple to use up there just make sure you call canpass before you get out of the plane if you can help it...makes it easy easy...
do yourself a favor and dont go to EFA in bedford they are a ripoff and they are a pain in the butt to deal with. If I were to give any props to any flight school I'de say maybe something in Nashua like Harvest aviation its a bit far up but you'll save more money going up there and the planes...
Its still sitting in their hangar collecting dust, it does the occasional demo but their demo to flight ratio is a bit lopsided. With that said though I think they still need to do their proving runs which the FAA has been slow at getting to. Its a neat little plane hopefully it will work out...
I thought 40k wasn't too bad, I could be wrong though. In the meantime I think its a pretty good company to work for, besides 40k will get you by around the NH, MA,ME area. you can get places in maine dirt cheap too...if you happen to go up there drop me a line and Ill try to help yah out.
Im not from the company but I think the pay is pretty good...something like 27k first year for FO's then for some reason I think it goes up to 40k once up graded but you have to sign a 2 year contract. Which is good anyways because the company seems to be doing well with their fast growth and...
I personally have little faith in the Eclipse...I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of owner operator accidents and these cahrter companies (the one in Boston and Day Jet) are going to have problems with the areas they operate out of. Boston area- NYC Or washington will be tough since the...
I flew contract for a PC12 owner for 2 and 1/2 years and had a lot of fun, great plane, easy to handle and nice smooth landings, with that said though without simcom the pay isnt much. I think it was 350.00 per day after simcom was done. Not too shabby thats for the eastcoast though. Theres a...
Yeah I'm not one for doing RJ flying (not that I'm putting it down) I flew around 6 people in a PC12 for 2.5 years and didn't really like it that much. I kind of like the night flying thing (Im sure ill get crap for that) I also don't really want to get stuck in the regionals for years waiting...
Anyone with any connections with Airnet have any clue wether they are doing the SIC program out of KBDL? I live in New England right now and can move to KBDL in the next few months. Still short on hours so the SIC program would be the only thing for me right now. Just trying to get a feel for...
