I stopped keeping track after Chuck Norris and his wife. Felt bad asking for his ID.

    NJ Recalls

NJ exceeded the selloff limit for last quarter so they have to recall 87 pilots by feb 1st. that should get to the bottom of the list.

    NJ Recalls

Nobody is leaving a major to come back to NJ. In fact I don't know anyone who has left JB, Spirit, Frontier, and even the few Allegiant guys are staying put. With the 10 year FO pay cap the long term money would be better at any of the LCCs and of course the Majors.

    NJ Recalls

I have waited a long time to come back so they will get nothing out of me.

    NJ Recalls

I think all pilots should have to have a degree

    NJ Recalls

Bail pilots out when they get dui's. Sort of like a training contract. We bail you out and you fly rubber dog poop to Mexico for a year. And do reverse college reimbursement. Pay them 2 grand a year to not go to college. Back on topic. They have sent out 105 first time recalls for the Sept...

    NJ Recalls

Yeah people are bailing NJ like crazy. I think it was a whopping 9 this month and 6 of them were old farts retiring. Current NJ pilots all talk bad about NJ but they will never leave. As for me I will run back to NJ. It is a no brainer versus my current job. I know they may not pass out as...

    Penair training

I think they will interview in Boston but ground school is in ANC on your own dime then sim in MSP. I hope they get desperate enough to change this.

    Netjets Recalls!!!!

The only thing we can know is the seniority of those leaving. Over the past 4 months it has been 75 percent captains. I know several of them were AA or DL recalls. I am sure most FOs are looking at the majors but that is still a tough nut to crack.

    NJ- round 2 begins

recalled pilots will be in the HBA system. New hires (if that ever happens) will be in the 100 crew base system.

    Spirit job fair question

job fair...... then long application or nothing...then phone interview or nothing...then psych test or nothing....in person interview... I have heard of people getting long app 24 hours after job fair or 6 months after job fair

Does UPS still have a 35lb lifting requirement? ?

So that is why they didn't hire me. Explains a lot,,,,, Seriously who can't lift 35 lbs but can fly an airplane for a living

    SWA hiring more.

    Probably more than 80

    And So It Begins

I can't believe it took 40 posts to hear about rubber dog poop and Mexico!!!

    Miami Air

Probably, I was just relaying what was said at the job fair. I think he was saying the Europe thing to make the job more attractive but the room was full of 121 regional guys who freak out over anything longer than a 4 day trip.

    Miami Air

He was apologetic about pay and such and said commuting really doesn't work out so you need to live in South Florida and basically said Miami Air is just a SWA training academy and like a lot of places FO attrition is high and Captains never leave.

    Miami Air

The Miami Air Chief Pilot spoke at the job fair in FLL Friday. Interviews in April for a class of 4 in May. They are doing TDYs this summer to Amsterdam or somewhere in Europe.

is 40 to 45 too old to get hired at a major?

Pure economics would dictate any pilot who has been around 5 or more years is making too much money. I am shocked the majors hire anyone under 50.
