You are right. While my intent does not come across in print, I see your point. That was my mistake.
Wow, a discussion and no name calling. Quick call Ripley's.
Warlord, if it is "pittly-ass stuff," why the full court press from management on the issue? As many times as a union has been brought to the surface here, and failed miserably might I add, then why don't management put out a message stating that the pilot group should put this to a vote? This...
In reading the press release, it looks like an SEC bomb is about to go off at BH due to their buyout of Lubrizol. I am no business genius by any stretch, just my opinion. If that is the case, the further he is from BH, the better BH will come out smelling like a rose.
Anyone who has attended a single pilot pay meeting will see F&H or even flat out Ford and Harrison on the slide show stating their sources for the pilot compensation package.
Dude, are you serious!? He is the reason that our company grew in the first place. BK was who for years has been pushing the whole Global issue for us. Now that it looks like NJA is getting them, what does that tell you? Even AIN has had articles on how the biggest selling market for business...
I am interested in the NJA Global rumor. But, it would not surprise me since Bombardier is all about moving tin. We have choked the chicken on this for what, 10 plus years now?
Correct me if I am wrong, but the focus group was formed to look into ALL issues/complaints within the pilot group. So why address a specific issue regarding Day one complaints, "travel within gateways", unless it benefits one of the focus members?
If you hired/chose So. Cal/ FLL to be your...
The sad thing is
Whoever this self proclaimed "leader" of the focus group is no better than the last leader of the CAB. If you read his posts, he is saying exactly what management wants. This dude is even trying to moderate what is said on BB. WTF! These guys were elected by pilots to represent...
I am in the same position as all of us. I fly the line and hear every day how 300 and 604 pilots are consistently taking and asking for OT. Some are even so brazen as to be telling anyone who will listen that they are doing so. This is not only a CA thing but an FO thing.
As far as the CAFO...
Flexwife,
You seem some what intelligent, so I will lay out the cruel hard facts for you and the rest of our group.
We lack the intestinal fortitude to step and and protect ourselves! When you have soooooo many 300 and 604 captains and f/o's begging for overtime, why do we need anything else...
Here, now you guys have your own political pissing contest thread. Enjoy. And don't forget the Liberals as well.
Now can we get back to fractional topics in the other threads.
Flex pilots are not paying for their training, therefore they don't fall under the same weak rules. Our training department looks at every guy/gal coming in with the same attitude. If you can't pass the ride, you don't belong. They won't put their jobs and family at risk just like all of us here...
OK, here is the rest of your post. I still stand by what I said before. The TRB is just that, a training review board, consisting of the instructor who did the ride, the supervisor of training, the ACP and a regular line pilot. They review the information provided from not only the recently...
