We think it is being concealed. I also heard just moments ago that AA was/is doing the same thing.
The freight is marked as M6. Please check your loads folks!
Update:
This update is long overdue. Sorry for the lack of communication over the last few days, we have all been spending quite a bit of time on the line.
- There is a strong suspicion that Arrow Cargo is flying our freight. One of their 757's was spotted in SDQ next to our 727 on the ramp...
Dick Capon (our POI) is against the strike, even though he knows it will improve safety. On Friday morning he walked up to our picket line and told us we were all crazy and started screaming.
He's a scab, go figure.
Surreal. Absolutely surreal.
Now I know why a scab is a scab. Now I know why there is so much hatred for these types of pilots. I hope that none of you ever have to experience what I had to experience last night. They walked right in front of us. They betrayed us. Some of them were way too...
For everyone who wants to join us:
Picketing of Cargo City (KMIA) will begin tonight at midnight. Please feel free to join us and show your support. Please come in uniform.
I will be giving continuous updates on strike locations and times.
Here is the address:
6145 N.W. 18th St., building...
This message is to update you on the status of our negotiations at the end of the cooling off period.
Sadly, it appears as though talks fell through at approximately 6:30pm tonight. The NMB issued a supposal to both parties this morning in an attempt to avoid a strike. The TA was for 4.5 years...
Absolutely! You'll learn to love it over time. Teaching is fun, and it is only intimidating before you actually experience it. After that, it is quite rewarding for you and the student. Can you get employed right there where you work now when you finish the CFI training?
Please, don't turn this into a flame war. I know what it is like to be furloughed, so please let your emotions rest for a moment.
We at Amerijet are doing our best to obtain a contract from which we will make a livable wage. Many of the Captains have been fighting for the union for years...
Not sure. I have not been to the property in a while, as I am working another contract right now. This is what I get from the other pilots/management. They have stated that the planes are at cargo city. Yes, ABX will no longer be flying on a wet lease for AJI. Not sure about the other three 767s.
Amerijet pilots will be flying these aircraft. Most likely, our management will be offering jobs to many of the ABX guys on the street.
The first two 767's are already on the ramp, and training for our pilots should begin soon. We have hired a few ABX guys to perform the training.
