Not True. I know a couple of buds who are in the left seat and current on the 737NG, one of whom has over 1000 hours in the left seat and one below 1000 hours, that have interviewed at SWA within the last month.
Yes for UAL, not sure about USAirways. I know of several USAir that didn't go back. There were also many UAL guys that didn't go back, especially those that had upgraded or were close to upgrading at AirTran. Those from United that went back were usually guys who had been at AirTran for less...
