Will SkyWest keep ASA's Atlanta base?

Anybody who thinks that Skywest will get rid of the ATL base has no idea whats going on. Thus pure flame bait.

    ASA Training Question

Wow, you guys make the Red Roof seem like Iraq. Its an okay area, not great but you can walk around and park a car there. Just use common sense just like any other area. Cleary you folks havent walked around any large cities. The training is very good and attitude is everything. The instructors...

    Telex 850 in CRJ?

I'll second the pleather covers from Radio Shack for the 750's. I used to have turn the volume all the way up and now its at about half that level. Like said buy two sets of the earpieces. It also cups your ear better than the foam covers and blocks out a little more wind noise.

    PSA or ASA

This question gets asked like 20 times a day on here. You guys need to make this decision for yourselves, no one here knows the right answer. Everybody can guess and what they say today could change tommorrow. Do whats right for you.

    ASA Training and Life

Wow, you guys need to relax. The training isnt easy but it's not that difficult. Memorize your memory items, limitations and profiles. That's 80% of your oral. Then get flows down cold. The one thing that ticks off instructors is not being prepared for a lesson because theres to much to do in the...

    Skywest is buying ASA??

This is ridiculous. All three pilot groups, Skywest/ASA/Comair, are good people. You guys are slamming each other over a scenario that is probably never gonna happen. If it ever does happen, then the only way would be DOH, all three groups would sacrfice and gain.

    Skywest is buying ASA??

We've heard rumblings about this for a couple of months, but everyone here is so tired of rumors that until our checks say Skywest we dont pay attention. I know alot of people would love some of your choice West Coast domiciles though. We all know that the pilots are always last to know.

I think we have between 1800-2000 pilots on the list.

    J/S Cabin Behavior

Just mind your own business unless you are asked for help. You have no authority over any passengers on that flight. As stated you are a crewmember in the back more for an emergency than anything at all. As FlyChicaga said it's a good idea to politely introduce yourself to the cabin crew.

    ASA Contract key items

We must get 100% retro pay and a seniority based reserve system with access to crew trac to hold em accountable.
