Unless you guys get $75,000 for a first year 60 captain, it would not be a pay raise to adopt JR's pay. This is NOT including per diem. With minimal effort, I manage to make a few hundred or more a month with the per diem, some guys make much more.......conclusion....most of our 60 captains can...- NYRANGERS

Pay. 26500 for f/o 36500 for capt. This is for Lears and king air. 6 on 2 off, unless they call you ahead of time or you answer the phone on a day off. Last I knew they had 4 airplanes and 7 pilots.....do the math. All around a bunch of bad apples over there.- NYRANGERS

Delta is going to be hard pressed to crew any new airplanes with the remaining furloughed pilots. Of the 461 pilots not offered recall, only 85 are on the short notice recall list. Maybe they will announce a new hire coordinator this winter or sooner. NYR -

There is Nothing more lame than civilian pilots (myself included) calling pilots "drivers". Everyone who does it........PLEASE STOP IT, it's embarassing to yourself. I'm sure I say dumb stuff all the time, but you guys need to stop using a military term to describe what type of FAR part 25... -
