just saw your total time. he told me that to go into the king airs you really need more time than you currently have. however, you may be able to squeeze into the right seat of a westwind if you have a decent amount of multi time. don't think they are looking for westwind SICs right now.
the assistant chief was my sim partner at flight safety last year and was a great guy. they have 3-4 westwinds, lear 60, challenger, citation VII, king air 200s. it's a part 91/135 company. not sure what percentage of the flights are which. he told me that they are not a 135 company that is...
we have a 3 aircraft flight dept with 9 pilots. we do 2 weeks on call, then 1 week on 24 hour call, i.e., you're off but if we need you, you need to be here within 24 hours (kind of rare to get a call). then we do get one hard week off every......well, i really don't know how it works. one...
it must be something going on this week b/c the same thing happened to us on thurs. we shut down and started up 3 times waiting to get out of TEB. first there was a thunderstorm on the field. after that, who knows. we sat in the runup for 2 hours.
or how about getting on an airliner only to sit next to someone (plane ole passenger) who "coaches" you through the whole flight just b/c he knows a little about flying the airlines. i find it more fun to indulge him in lots of questions about flying just to play ignorant than to say, "i know...
