Breaking news!!!

The last of our senior management team has just left! We're now being run by a bunch of middle managers and the IT department! A "closing team" is being recruited to help to determine who will be the one to turn off the final light switch.

Pilots showing up for recurrent are discovering their badges no longer let them in, and are being told "just go look at the plane through the fence. You'll be fine!".

And most telling, the Netjets store has increased the employee discount from 20% to 30%. Everything must go!

Worst of all, our union keeps telling us we need to keep showing up for work. Clearly an evil scheme to wring every last dollar out of us before the end so JH and AV, two eboard members who aren't really, can live lavish lifestyles after we shut down! It's diabolical!

I'll post more updates as they happen.

Yes yes!! EVERYONE knows what's going on! No point in trying to keep it a secret anymore! We're gone man! GONE! We're not holding hands and singing songs, we're trying to huddle together for warmth in the midst of the total wreck that is (soon to be 'was') Netjets!

Oh, if only we'd had you to warn us earlier! Anonymous posters on FI always have the BEST info! Especially the folks that don't actually work here. The old "I heard it from a friend who heard it from a steward who posted in APC" communication network can't be beat!

Truth time: we really and truly have furloughed 1000 pilots. Gone! The majority of the fleet is parked and being sold off. Gone! Senior management are jumping ship faster than rats from a burning barn. Gone! 401K matching and all other benefits canceled. Gone!

The only thing more amazing than this is that not a single aviation publication has reported on any of this. It's quite a compliment to the "APC to steward to friend to ImBack" network that all this was discovered so handily. I know what news network I'll be tuning into from now on!

Like I said #CONGRATS for being the biggest failures of 2020. Or the most #NAIVE. I'd like for you to pick me up at the FBO and take me to my hotel, please. You'll be a Uber/Lyft driver soon enough. #TicToc

Thanks for the congrats! It's not easy to be the best at something!

I admit though, I'm a bit surprised you're so ready to get back into a car after your fun drive to one of your incredibly numerous SEVEN hubs. I must admit I'm surprised though. I'd have thought Mr. Benevolent (ie KR) would be providing you with company transport at all the FBO's. He'd only need to defer a little more of your pay to cover the cost of it, and since you're fine with that sort of thing, well...Still, some folks live for the journey, so......

But dang it! Once again, the anonymous poster on FI who doesn't work at NJ has all the best info! How'd you know about my new Lyft gig? I was really hoping to keep it secret before all my soon-to-be-unemployed cohorts in my region got the same idea. It's no good if the market is saturated with drivers! Do you have a tour soon? I could really use the work.

#FlyingToday. The client said they were a previous NJ customer and now they are being sent numerous messages. I quote them "instead of being smug, now they want to lure me back with lower costs and commitments". They used the word #DESPERATE. These are not my words but those of the owners in the back. #TicToc

Like I said, the gig is up! You got us! We're secretly selling the planes out from under the clients. We're not desperate, we're just closing up.

Not sure why you want to keep belaboring the point. Does it make you feel better to do so? What, exactly, do you need to feel better about? Especially since we're done and Flex is taking over. You're coming off as kinda desperate for some kind of confirmation of the greatness of Flex. Okay. Here it is: your company is great and ours is finished! Feel better? Or can we expect another update on the status of NJ from an anonymous poster who doesn't actually work there?

Keep me updated! Clearly, our union and company aren't doing it! Thanks for all the good info!

Heard your union is trying to slow roll management. This is coming directly from your stewards to your pilots. I guess your band isn't so tight. NJ was able to approve voluntary LOAs without the Union (this is per the Union). You should be worried. #Tic-Toc

Look, buddy, I've had fun playing with you, but your ignorance is exhausting. You're either a KR troll, or just a plain old troll. Either way, waste of time with you.

You started this thread asking a question. Asking a question implies you lack information and would like more. So I and a couple others gave you the info. And instead of saying "Oh, thanks. That's a bit different from what I heard." , you've spent the rest of your time TELLING us we're wrong and that you know much better than us what's going on.

I think my first guess is correct. You're a KR troll. You've got a problem over there. KR has FORCED changes on the pilot group, and a lot are none too happy about it. So someone has to go out on the message boards and try to paint a picture of how much worse it is at your competitor.

Hey man, whatever floats your boat. What's truly funny is KR flat out telling all of you that we furloughed 1000 pilots. What, you think nobody talks to each other in FBO's? How's it make KR look when one of your pilots mentions the 1000 furloughed pilots in an FBO, and our pilot says he's in the bottom 1000 and still employed? I imagine it doesn't help morale at all to know your leader blatantly lies to you on top of forcing draconian pay, schedule and basing options because you have no representation.

What's even funnier is you're on here, where it's you, me and just a few others. Your message just isn't getting out buddy. I saw you at APC too. Same thing. More people there, but still not exactly a big audience.

I really do have better things to do, so I'll let you have the last word.

For everyone else, here's what's currently happening at NJ. No furloughs. No pay cuts. Still getting our full 401K matching. All bases still open. Many planes aren't flying because very few clients are flying, but we haven't mothballed any of the fleet. I'm fact, like you, our company has spent a huge sum of money to have a special antimicrobial coating installed on EVERY plane, which is a good indication none are parked long term. We have a voluntary LOA program in effect. We've also just agreed to a VOLUNTARY tour drop option, as well as being able to move vacations. All of this has been accomplished through mutual company-union collaboration. Our union continues to work with the company for future voluntary efforts. I won't say we'll never furlough because no one knows how long this will last, but the best info is if furloughs become necessary it's still about 5-6 months away. And if we get there I'm certain everyone else in this industry will be doing the same.

If anyone has any legitimate questions about what's going on at NJA, feel free to send me a PM. There's really nothing secret or sinister going on over here.

#thetruthhurts

Realityman you are clearly not connected to what is going on there. Your brothers are behind the scenes showcasing the #REALSTORY. All I had to do was ask for #PROOF. I'll PM you as this information is going to blow up your argument. Now go run to your union and cry.

Thanks for the PM of useless junk. There's no context whatsoever to it and doesn't even look like anything offical from Netjets or our union. I can't comment further because for some reason your PM's are closed, meaning I'm not allowed to respond to them.

Again, I'm not worried. The only proven liar is KR. I read his communication to all of you. He flat out said we furloughed 1000 pilots. We have not. Proof of that doesn't require some secret PM from some unknown source. Anyone can talk to any of our pilots in the bottom 1000 to see if they've been furloughed. Just one in a long string of lies from that guy.

Sorry, still not worried. If things stay at this level for another 3-4 months, I'll be worried. But then again, if that happens, I think you folks will be worried too.

You're still just a troll.

If this thing lasts another 3-4 months 2NN‘s outfit will be under. We’ll possibly be on the ropes. Latest news is things are looking up. Let’s see if I back gets the gouge on that...
