Is this true?

Two very pro-teamster supporters, both captains, Walked off the job mid-tour. Did not tell their copilots, did not tell their dispatchers, did not tell their Chief Pilot. In the middle of the night they both sneaked home leaving their passengers without a aircraft captain for their next morning flight.

I thought Teamster pilots were "Professionals". Doesn't seem professional to me.

“Snuck”

Early this morning a decert supporter tried to make a post demeaning those who support the IBT without a basic command of the English language.

Is this the face of the decert group?Someone who can’t even read, speak and understand basic English? That’s not an autocorrect error. Do the owners know their lives are in the hands of a borderline illiterate? What about their fellow aviators?

Do you see how stupid your specious BS sounds? I really hope you are a pilot and not someone being paid by the union busting firm to post this drivel on FI. You know, the third party that’s not supposed to be involved with the decert drive despite being named on the papers filed by the decert leader, and despite sending threats of legal action on that individual’s behalf?

Do you really think that is a Teamster issue? Really? How about the fact that your short Pilots, you work for a joke of a management team that is working it’s crews to death and couldn’t careless about its employees, (which is a safety issue) new hires are no shows and guys are just sick of working 14 & 10 do it again with no end in site! And you say it’s a Teamster issue about professionalism! What about managements professionalism to show up and negotiate in good faith and The lack of respect towards its crews that is greed driven. How about the upgrades and movement to big airplanes out of seniority, how about your wonderful employee agreement that you had to sign as a condition of employment, how about not paying a bonus that was said all along would be paid and then Kenn goes and lies about it to about 60 Pilots faces in Dallas, how about not wanting to give a 401(k) in the beginning, how about voting for work rule changes that your employment agreement spelled out shall I keep going......but it’s a Teamster issue of course!

Do yourself a favor and Wake up! You obviously have no clue! I wouldn’t blame anyone for leaving last minute under the conditions they are working under at Flexjet!

Putting all the blame on the Teamsters for the current working conditions and managements lack of professionalism is like sleeping with a prostitute and getting and STD and blaming her because you didn’t use a condom!

Lumpsum you are a buyer of BS! Just remember this “Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.”

Lump sum is a manager. The bald one who is extremely overweight. You know him as the VP of red label...You never hear from actual pilots, it's all managers for this all out assault.

I wonder how they will vote in the election?

We no how they will vote, if they are eligible to vote! The company will be pulling their usuall manipulation in all their muster to rig the system! They will argue the managers that have senority numbers are eligible to vote, they will even claim some of them are not really managers or an aircraft Commander is not a manager even though the discription is that of a manager who also fly the plane.

Oh darn!

Thanks for the grammar lesson "DirtyBeech". You know, I had typed "snuck" at first but it just didn't look right. I knew "sneaked" wasn't right but didn't think it would matter that much. Sorry if it offended you. Didn't know that we get graded on our spelling here.

Aside from that, did you happen to have an answer to my question or are you going to dodge it again with another spelling lesson?

The answer that flew over your head was that your post was a silly attempt to smear union supporters. It holds about as much water with line pilots as my noting your grammar issues. I was pointing out the absurdity of your post by making an absurd post about you.

I’ll start caring about the unprofessional nature of pilots abandoning Flex when you start caring about a guy like PD getting countless do overs after failing check ride after check ride in the Lear. Him and a few others. Guys who couldn’t be bothered to learn memory items and limitations let alone fly the box well. I can actually excuse the latter a bit as it was pretty clear that Flops was pencil whipping the checkrides given in the real plane. Or maybe we can discuss G’s going off runways. Or Globals flying through hail storms. And on, and on, and on.

So glass houses. You can try to go tit for tat and get hammered, or just stick to your positions and try to make a passable attempt at staying truthful.

Unfortunately they would have done that no matter if the union was Teamsters or not. That fact is completely irrelevant.

I talked to one of those captains. He sent an email to one of the Jim's with his resignation. It is true that he left on short notice because he was offered an earlier class date, but it is also true you have terminated pilots on the spot who gave two weeks notice. So his notice was no less "professional" than your terminations. Take you FUD someplace else.

And these guys are blaming the Teamsters for the way the company is treating 49% of the pilots? I should start a new thread just for the best way to leave OneSky.

Lump your foolish,
one of them was previously fired for his Unionizing activities! He had to fight to get his job back. So how would you suggest he leave? I am pretty sure he won’t be looking for a letter of recommendation from anyone in Onesky Management! This just proves a “Culture of Trust” the company wants to rebuild isn’t going to be rebuilt with out a Union contract! A Union contract provides accountability to both sides and doesn’t rely on the benevolence of the current or future management team!

This is 100% truth. Most guys that have given notice. The day they gave notice the company has terminated them on the spot. Thats the FAMILY CULTure. I won't be giving any when I leave.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. During the first big contract battle we had in ‘04-‘05 at NJA, this Forum was awash w our management tools spreading FUD. They were very prolific on here. At least 5 that we knew of.

They monitored this board 24/7. We could see their names down in the rollcall list. If one of us posted, they would come back w an immediate response, or try to! I can’t say if it was organic (as our pilots on this Forum were) or was it coordinated by the Union busting team but it was real.

It was good sport to spar w them on here. We had nothing to lose. The stakes seem higher for your situation. Good luck w these moles. Keep the pressure up. Most of all don’t let them get the upper hand. Respond w the hammer EVERY time they post.

The day after our TA dropped (the one we accepted) the Lumpy’s of this board vanished into thin air...never to be heard from till the next contract battle but in our case it was half hearted on thier part. Their asses had been handed to them in ‘05.
