+2 Bill, and it's usually the putz Jenny initiating these things, as she does over on the regional board. All she posts is known information, copy/paste, copy/paste! And then acts like those that want to move to the majors should consult and/or listen to her for advice. All form her little dispatcher cubicle out there in Utah somewhere.....

This is funny. So Turdy, copy and pasting something that backs up an opinion is wrong? And you just come up with stuff to prove your point? You haven't done that yet on this board. You are 100% pure idiot. You try to slam, but you can't refute anything I post, and then you slam me for the number of posts I have, over the last 14 years. You don't like it that I'm consistently right, so you slam my post totals, instead of the subject.

You really don't understand the industry, and you can't debate. But, you can try to clutter the board with "Genny is almost at 20,000 posts..." Great Freeturd, you can count, which I didn't expect from you. Good for you turdy!

Wow, what a crazy rant! 14 years? Guess you mean YOU 'cause I haven't been here on FI for 14 years. Substance, how can you say you provide substance Jenny dear. All you do is present KNOWN information that means everyone is already aware of it. Get it putz? Reckon not. Thanks for the grins today, you're really something sweetheart! Now go dispatch a flight willya!

Pure genius! Nam is calling you back! Go, you won't get a better flying job here. Just go.....Dahni is waiting for you... Ahahahaha!

Thanks for helping me get closer to 20,000. Looks like you're the Putz, now doesn't it? You bet! And as Dahni tells you, "Keep it up!"

not to stir the pot. I think that given the venue, I probably am doing so.

I pose this question. SWA acquired FL...Have there been any procedural changes on the SWA side because of the acquisition? Good or bad? Every airline puts out a thousand memos a month regarding changes. Job security for some. A pain in the a$$ for the some/me.

If any of it is coming from the FL side...How do you SWA guys feel about it. Is it for the better? Or is is it just mgmnt. keeping themselves busy?

I think that the procedures that will be adopted from the FL side haven't started appearing yet, so most people probably haven't seen them yet.

My sources say that, starting in 2015, some changes will be made to checklists/QRH. Later, expect some FMS software upgrades (including better VNAV) and Aerodata ACARS will replace or supplement OPC data.

The merger has been an abject failure because we STILL have gear pins on our aircraft!

que you know who to chime in w/ her "substance";)

I really like the SWA QRH, it's one of the best ever seen. I hate to see it go, but at least I have my copy of it to use for personal study and checkride prep. On the other hand, the OPC needs to go. They should all be thrown in a deep pit, sprinkled with Holy Water, and covered up. Then all mention and references to it should be forbidden.

Most of the SWA procedures are pretty good. The plethora of choreographed briefings is a little silly, especially when guys spend 15 minutes briefing every little detail of a departure or arrival and then fly it totally different from the brief.

And the MCP to zero after GS capture is retarded. But don't ask the training dept about the logic behind it, you just get a bunch of nonsense about standardization between ILS and RNP approaches, never mind the fact that everything else about the two approaches is different. Apparently, we can't be trusted to handle the MCP appropriately for different approaches.

My point was that the changes haven't been put into place, ergo not likely to be many comments on said changes.

The current QRH has a lot of great info, would be nice if the left pages were preserved as a supplement or appendix
