Some pilot's egos need that 4th stripe don't they. I've seen you at every airline I've worked at. I know 50 year olds flying turboprops at commuters because they need that 4th stripe.
I know you've been peeved at this whole thing, I never took you for the do^chebag that statement makes you-
You're a lot easier to handle now. Every airline has those types. Hell, every profession does. Screaming bc he can't be the big fish in a little pond.
Cry cry man.
You're as irrelevant now as that type is anywhere. Ignored and tolerated to the extent required. Self convinced.

What an interesting reaction.

You do realize that every word of my post was a joke ? That's what the giant farkin green smiley face was about. However; since it apparently led you into a completely arse baring rant, it was well worth my while.

You humorless dolt.

Bravo. This post should be enshrined in the mahogany scented halls of Flight Infos great libraries.

Flying with you is (almost) going to be worth the degradation and debasement of a downgrade. I bet I can make you stroke out. Two days ..... max.

:D

Yeah;););)

Doubtful. Nice backtrack though. Smiley was for the stroke out. You were serious as a stroke about the degradation. You just don't like the sound of your real opinion of FOs now that it's been pointed out.

Senior AT Capts shouldn't have to go to FO, it never would have happened in arbitration, and that's the point. No pilot integration should be forced, or else you get disgruntled pilots, for a long time. You guys had the opportunity to watch two previous mergers and how the SLIs worked there, and you chose the wrong path. That's the point, and both you and Room can't accept it. Typical.

Bye Bye---General Lee

Shoot me, I'm actually responding to GL's post-
Like trying to argue with a fart.

I have been on record dozens of times saying I'd have preferred arbitration.

Clear enough for you?

My opinion counts for less than nothing YEARS later.

As someone who has been a captain for multiple outfits and an FO for multiple outfits and switched those roles many times because of 9/11 etc- I may disagree with all kinds of things that have gone on in this industry, from outsourcing, to age 65, to SLI's, to individual unions responses to their SLI's-

What it's not ever though- is a "degradation" or "debasement" to wear the first officer hat.

There are quite a bit of old school captains at both air tran and SWA that haven't got the memo on that one. It comes from a career of really quick upgrades and history of low pay as a first officer. Both contribute to making some really weird captains who have almost no realistic industry perspective.

More non- sensical ranting.
More hyperbole.
More absolutes with no facts to back anything up.

Rant away GLEE. You're fun to watch. Between AAI and USAPA, you're gonna stroke out.

Just remember, 90% of the pilots at SWA voted to accept the MSWAPA pilot list.

All the whining and crying in the world won't change that fact. But hey! Maybe ALPULL will institute the fragmentation clause and DALPA will cough up those captain seats that go along with those 88 planes we sent to you. You know, since you're all up in arms about fairness and all!

Some may be "quirky" as you state, but you don't make them all FOs. That's just plain ridiculous. And, it happened. So, when AT guys do complain about it for years, be ready to sympathize with them. It was handled poorly.

So, you didn't read that Delta doesn't own the planes yet? (SWA sub-lease) Delta isn't buying the planes until the SWA leases are up, and then they are being bought at the "then current" price in 10 years. I believe in your contract or AT's previous contract it states that there is no fragmentation when a lease is involved, which is the case. Sorry! But that still doesn't take away the poor treatment those guys got from your team. They are gonna be angry for years.

And I'm not angry or feeling like I'll stroke out. I just find it interesting how many of you guys and the Easties dismiss the poor treatment of your fellow pilots. Arbitration would have been so much easier on everyone, and a lot more fair. Oh well, you and Wavey just don't understand, and that's obvious. It is fun watching your reactions, though.

Deflection-
You know general that you owe those pilot jobs to air tran pilots- it's just not convenient to your weak arguments

If Swapa line pilots had had any idea that we were going to sell off 2/3's of their planes it definitely would have gone to arbitration.

Funny stuff. Your airline is replacing the 717s one for one. And your company knew exactly what it was doing, legally. Why didn't AT ALPA sue? They figured out that SWA did it legally. It had to be done one way, and they did it correctly. But, thanks for the upgrades and RJ replacements.

And don't blame anyone but your boss for not revealing the plans. I'm sure the AT guys would have wanted to know too. They thought they could bid the 717s and stay Capts. That didn't happen.

Everyone knew the plan. That's why RSW pilots are pi$$ed because our union sold US down the river and Trannies are too arrogant and pi$$ed to recognize that their MEC got them a smoking hot deal for getting RSW seniority while bringing over less than half their planes. Especially when you consider SL 9 would have had AAI furloughs involved with 717s not hitting the property.

As you pointed out-GLEE, all done legally with over 90% of the combined list signing YES on the dotted line. Glad you've finally admitted that all your whining about AAI is nothing more than a little schoolgirl rant.

Now, get back to b*tching about USAPA and bragging about your 40 hour layovers in Who-Flung-Dung. Make sure to where a raincoat.
