Well, excoriated by delta, while everyone else is just getting a good chuckle:)

Hard to argue with a word like "excoriated". It's almost like the word "whilst" or "fraught", those are just showstoppers.

Give the guy a break, people, he's probably 63, on his seventh ex-wife and/or otherwise up the proverbial creek.

Well if he can't check his emotions when going to work maybe need needs to take a medical leave and go talk to a professional. That outburst is actually kinda scary on the mental tip!

Actually if my FO loses his mind like that I'm not sure I wouldn't do a 180 and take his a$$ back to the gate.

Really?

C'mon now- just got a little frustrated-
He did say good morning though;)

That's a no win conversation- the controller didn't need to explain all that either-
A simple "ok- just checking" would suffice-

The one good point poorly made is that it sounds like it wasn't busy at all, no one around, and he didn't tell DAL how to get to Mike.

That is annoying whether it's ramp or ground, when they micromanage with nothing but 4 empty football fields worth of space -

Every single one of us has at least rolled our eyes at that one-

Maybe he could've let delta get a little farther down the road before jumping on him-
I think those controllers are so used to the congestion that really would mess things up if a little error is made, that they forget to let it go when it doesn't matter

I don't know.. Lemme ax sumbody..

Okay, I give up--who does that make "racist"?

You? The guy who posted to Liveleak and added the transcription? The controller who said "axe"? Who, exactly?

'Cause it kinda' seemed like you said the Delta pilot was racist, when he neither said anything of the sort, nor made fun of the controller's ebonics accent. He was just pissed because he thought he was being screwed with professionally. I don't know if it's true that that happens or not, but that was suggested by Juniority and others. Regardless, I didn't hear that race played any factor at all here. Please help me out.
