Is frontier being positioned to merge with Sprit. Or are they expanding to be on there own?

Dont see a merger anytime soon with those guys? Spirit is doing just fine on their own... A merger would be a big bump in the road for Spirit in the middle of all thier expansion plans and the amount of money they are making, there is no need to merge. They are better off competing directly agains Frontier and making them go bye bye at this point.

Let me get this straight! Southwest and United could not make us go bye bye and now you think Spirirt can make us go bye bye? What planet do you live on? I agree with you about no merger looming anytime soon, but to insinuate that Spirit can bankrupt or put Frontier out of business is pretty ignorant!

Wasn't Frontier falling and saved by a regional to bring them profitable again?

Yes it was! Republic outbid Southwest Airlines to buy Frontier. Moving forward, Republic has nothing to do with us anymore, so what is your point?

Spirit is doing fine on their own, and Frontier seems to be doing fine on our own. Remember who got Spirit up and moving? Indigo. Who owns Frontier now? Indigo.

I have been at Frontier for 10+ years and this is truly the first time I have felt some sense of stability. We are hiring pilots, we are growing and will be opening up some new bases in the near future.

Spirit/Frontier merger not going to happen anytime soon.
Let's put this one to rest.

Point is, you can be bankrupt and put out of business. Frontier was until you were saved and now you guys are in a good position finally.

It's happening now I thought and you even said you feel some stability with the company and they are hiring. So there I let you know Frontier is doing good for themselves.

Frontier is not going anywhere. Indigo did not purchase the airline so it could fail. This is Frankes last hoorah, so I would expect something big from him. His record speaks for itself
