I've done pretty good with real state, but it is NOT something that is learned with a quick course, it takes time to learn the business.

Well, instead of working a side job, I've been investing in other people's futures. I put in a little money, they do the work, and later, when I'm retired, the returns kick in to support me.

So, for the past few years, I've been putting two girls through Law School . . . one lap dance at a time. Their names are Portia and Mercedes, and they usually start work after school gets out. Every now and then, I stop by and check on my investment. Man, can those two dance!

I did real estate for awhile. If you're on reserve in base it may work, but now you really have to put in a lot of time to build momentum. Flipping GA planes works for some as well as houses, which is making a come back. There are also the traditional part time jobs. I'm working pt as a mechanic along with a Usairways captain. FBOs are usually looking for part timers and there is always convenience stores and pizza joints, etc.
