You can change subjects at anytime. You are not my b!tch and I don't determine what you post about. It was you that continually brought the subject up again and again like you were suffering from OCD or you set calendar reminders.
Instead you are trying to score FI.com points while other suffer under these plans.

That is YOUR focus ... beeeatch!!

Useless.

... Nobody ... would WANT a union at JetBlue if we didn't feel it was necessary. The necessity was brought on by management's "handling" of labor and their refusal to reward us for our hard work. In fact, they have done exactly the opposite...
Yep!!

Back on topic. Go to jetblue, well it isn't the worst place in the world to work, better than being on reserve at a regional by a bit. Pay is probably better, Health care probably worse, flying the line about the same, planes a bit bigger, but an airplane is an airplane.

Bigblue at present is simply not there when it comes to pay, benefits or QOL when compared to the other majors, and they probably won't be so in the near future, if ever.

Just about all those who have recall rights at DAL, AMR are going back. Lots of people applying to other majors, those who get the choice are leaving.

COO claims we can handle massive attrition, but why would he ever worry about that, is that really something the other majors worry about? Why would so many choose to leave?

So if they call, by all means go, but do yourself a favor and keep pursuing the real majors, you know who they are.

Did you ever work at a regional?
Other than the HEALTHCARE the rest of the first paragraph is total crap.
I came from a regional with one of the best contracts and I lived in base, my QOL at blue is 10xs better and I commute.
The "Real Majors" you talk of, are just now getting on their feet after years of stagnation, mergers, furloughs, and bk.
We have problems here and the ELT better up their game, but relatively speaking jetBlue has been pretty stable and continues to grow.
I am just getting real tired of all the bashing you guys like to do.
I guess you guys never applied here they just came along and forced you to work here.....(Before I get attacked...I will vote yes.....our healthcare needs help...we need psia.....and we should compare jetBlue to other majors not to a regional).

No offense but this isnt just about a union. This company, management is mediocre at best. Wall street doesnt like us. Its not good. We consistently miss our estimates. Do you want to work at a place that relies on selling snack boxes and pillows to make a difference? We re so frail.

We have a 10% operating margin and we about to see ex fuel CASM plummet in the next 18 months.

I'm no fan of Jetblue management style with employees but they are turning the ship around from where we were financially just a few years ago.

Wall Street does not like us now because to potential is still 12 month away and 3A is hanging over us. If we see revenue growth due to barf (Mint) we will start to pay off our debt faster due to lower CASM and IF ... IF ... we lose about a $1 billion in debt we are goners. I mean sold for a premium.

How is that for

Except ... Got a SLI representative - yes you do! Meet Rob Maruster!!
