Cool! Now the rest of us need to step up when it's our turn.

Good luck with that! There's to many other regionals happy you turned it down. Now they know they'll be getting more larger RJ's while Eagle will begin shrinking!!

Sad... But if history shows us anything....

It's nice to see a principled pilot group. All we really are is different pilot groups. Some groups are solid and reasoned, while others are weak and erratic. I really don't think you can help the weak pilot groups or talk them out of their short-sighted stupidity. It's like trying to help the fat kid get across the monkey bars; it's just not gonna happen.

So glad to see this. So much better than the cave-in that "Bend over" pilots allowed. Disgraceful bunch, at least 85% of them anyway.
Hope this starts a trend. ASA/EXPRESSJET let's keep this going.

Start making history, the rest of you sackless, whiny POS dooshbags can man up. I actually hope they chain the doors shut on my sweatshop, I am done with this job and the majority of you whiny little girls. I am thinking of buying a Honey Pot truck so I can go home at the end of the day and actually feel clean. Ya'all haven't figgered out the fact that they need us far worse than we need them, I can pay my bills by running a dog walking service, they would be out of business in 48 hours with the planes parked and no pilots to fly them.
FCK every airline CEO and manager out there, they are in the same league as child molesters.

But what if they offer delta interviews?

XJT guys and gals are getting interviews regardless. Pinnacle had no choice because deep down they know they're a sorry lot. Not everyone, but a vast majority.

I hold out hope that we'll get a TA with meaningful improvements soon. If anythng significant is moved backwards, it's a NO vote from me.

This right here is the mentality the airline management fears the most. Although most pilots are more akin to sheep than wolves.
Shutter this mother f#%cker and let them find another industry to ruin.
If you think airline management doesn't meet on the golf course and discuss how to make you do more for less your head is in the clouds.
To quote jim ream . . . "Poor silly souls"
Gordon Bethune . . . "I was willing to pay more, done! Hahaha"
We are our own worst enemy, unfortunately this sheep mentality exists on the legacy side as well and I will savor nothing better than walking away from this business.

If they have money to fund Mini-Indy and Acey Days they have money to give me a raise.

Economics 101. Law of Supply and Demand. A scarce commodity can demand a higher wage.

Pilots are becoming scarce.

It's a start for fighting back management's attempt to Wal-Mart the Regionals. For that my hats off to you Eagle, wait, we don't wear hats at ASA. Regardless, thanks for stepping up. Hopefully the rest of us will get our heads out of our ass and demand a livable wage and improved QOL. It has to stop eventually, now is the time.

Hoser

Starting with pinnacle

Hey hey now!! Don't leave my reverent out of the equation, he is thirsty for fresh cheap blood!! Amennnnn!!!

It'll be AWAC next under the blade. Remember we are in negotiations currently, and things have ground to a halt at the 'expensive' stuff.

Peace.

A TA with meaningful improvements to the ASA contract or the XJT contract?

To the ASA contract. I have never worked under your agreement so I'll refrain from making assumptions. If your group feels that a TA doesn't meet your needs, vote NO. Your MEC should be negotiating on your behalf, so don't bitch and moan about ASA pilots bringing you down if they bring you a substandard TA.....you can always vote NO.

My only point is that my possible substandard TA would be a concession to the XJT contract but a windfall for the ASA contract. If I was an ASA pilot, I wouldn't vote to give 2/3 of the pilots concessions. That's what you would be doing in this scenario, YOU voting for concessions for an overwhelming majority of the pilots who would be working under this contract. It couldn't be seen as anything other than a concessionary contract.

How about you vote for what is best for you. If it sucks for 2/3 of the pilots then it will get voted down. Why are you worried about how someone else votes? They can vote however they want. Especially if its no! Lol

Oh, so now we're supposed to pretend to care about each others' respective group.

"Windfall" is a heck of a stretch... Just sayin

Couldn't have been stated better. Cheers to you sir!

Because what's best for you isn't necessarily best for the industry if the TA is concessionary. Anyway, I said I would vote no if I was an ASA pilot. I never told anyone how to vote.

No, I thought in light if the Eagle MEC decision, we were now talking about following their lead.

Let me put it this way, if the TA had your PBS and its associated work rules plus the rest of the LXJT contract it would not be a stretch to say that would be a windfall for the ASA pilots.

Couldn't have been stated better. Cheers to you sir!

By the way, the JNC is supposed to be negotiating on both sides behalf at the mutual direction of both MECs. What he said is incorrect.

what he said was Completely correct. If L-XJT had ASA's PBS system, it would be a windfall gain for lxjt. So, go vote your vote. You have as much pull here as I would on the pipe. In fact, I personally feel you do more damage to your pilot group every time you post.

You're not an ASA pilot. Never was, never will be. But you're telling them you would vote no. Well sir, personally I don't care how you would vote in any scenario. But if you ask me, you contradict yourself in your own sentence.

You've never worked under ASA's contract. So, with all due respect, mind your own business. Go do what you got to do, and I will do the same. Good luck with the whole burn it down theme, I really hope you get a chance to fall on your sword, I really do.
