PCL - Teaming up with management to hold a gun to someone's head is not honorable,

Teaming up with management? Nice spin PCL.

You guys completely blew the first deal. You know, the one that you crafted from the beginning...with no desire to ever send it out. One of the worst decisions by ALPA for years to come. Your members paid a very, very high price.

If anyone wants to know how ALPA really runs, go check out the Eagle MEC dinner-gate threads in the regional forum. They ran a dinner bill up to $2085 (yes, over 2 grand for dinner and drinks). Your dues dollars at work!

And PCL is over there trying to defend that activity too...

i can name you a whole bunch. All the WN captains within a one hour drive of Atlanta, who will hold it as their new base
If by a bunch you mean 3, then you are correct.

There is 1 SWA Captain that lives in Atlanta.
There are 3 others that live about an hour from the airport.
Only 13 Captains total in the state of Georgia.

So, not really a whole bunch.

Using your numbers, I can then conclude that no more than 13 WN captains will voluntarily bid into ATL., the rest will be displaced. Am I correct? If 13 or less is the number, I will happily buy you dinner at Fogo de Chao, the favorite feeding trough for ALPA officers on the union dime.

If more than 15 bid in, you can buy me Moe's on concourse C.

No one got what they wanted or felt entitled to out of the ISL. If SWA and SWAPA had been in bed together as much as PCL and others claim they could have dictated a list much more favorable to SWAPA up to and including a staple. On the other hand if SWA really didn't care about labor relations they could have washed their hands of it and let ALPA get the list they wanted via arbitration. What SWA tried to do, I think, was come up with the "least unfair" list because when its all over they realize labor stife is expensive. No one got what they expected and no one loves the list.

If you are a 65000-76000 number they all love the list. The rest not so much.:(

Maybe today but not so much I bet in the long run. The 65000# guys would have upgraded anyway because over half of the planned 288 Capt upgrades this year are due to WN retirements. The rest are getting a quicker upgrade BUT will have a terrible QOL for a long time as they stagnate at the bottom of the Capt list in 2015 and have to play nomadic pilot to keep the seat.

Our union seems to be doing a bang up job waisting money also. ie: The Paris trip. Plus a lot more waist.

I agree 2.5 is low. But I also agree it should have and would have been closer to 4-5. But thats my own opinion. I wont go further with it because it is OVER.

Good point-
