half of all future new hires at USAirways come from PDT and PSA equally, or 25 percent per WO, OR 3 per month US is hiring, whichever is lower. Conflicting reports of whether this agreement survives the merger. My guess is that it's not worth the paper it's written on.
What a deal.... 36 people a year max.... lol
Went to the road show today... Union did a great job with its presentation. Yes it not perfect, but we will still be able to put our contract against most in the industry. As for health care cost its much better then the 500.00 a month family plan at Republic. And I think we still have the best Healthcare in the industry when you incluse what we pay.
I'll be voting Yes
Modest pay raises below inflation, 75 percent DH, 11 day off min, 75 hr guarantee. 11 day off and 75 hr guarantee don't affect most of the pilot group. With new ft dt rules all lines will be close to 11 days off anyway.
Yes. So that plus min day off increase of 1 for the reserve guys. Sorely needed I might add, reserve rules were one of our biggest gripes. DH pay of 75 percent (increased from 50) helps them disproportionally too, so reserve will be more lucrative. We also got a critical change in extension language, so now the company admits a reserve pilot is considered a "pilot" according to the contract and the section that covers "pilot schedule extensions" applies to reserves now. Pathetic we had to bargain for something we already had.75 hrs for rsv lines too? Thats a bump from 72.
6 percent of line 1 W2 from 2012. Pathetic.

So reserve life will be noticeably better, but its like saying one turd smells better than another. The rest of the contract improvements are offset by the concessions we gave.
Well that $2400 if youre an fo who earned 40k. Thats not really bad for a regional.
Wait....are talking about psa or PDT? I just realized the name of this thread.
PDT here.
