Thats the one I heard last week as well. The other was we are going to be 1000 overmanned by 2013, so furloughs for Christmas 2013.

YMMV.

I thought that SWA doesn't furlough. They understand that job security is extremely important to their employees.

Sounds to me that someone, *cough* scoreboard, is hoping for a furlough to teach those pesky AirTran pilots a lesson.
 
No, quite the contrary, I just mentioned I was hearing strange rumors, unsupported by the facts on the ground.
