Good job Judge Lane, wink wink nudge nudge. See you in the Hamptons at Hortons management always wins soiree.

Wouldn't a judge appointed in 2010 in NY most likely be a friend of labor? I'm going out on a limb here, but my assumption is Judge Lane is more aligned with the left side of the political spectrum. I don't think he's an 'activist' judge and it's not like the pilots weren't expecting this. This is all part of the process, and certainly, this is better than accepting the other POS proposal from Horton that would have furloughed 450 and opened the door (wide as$ open no less) to Eagle and whoever else lined up to fly bigger RJs.

It's not the job of a bankruptcy judge to be a friend of labor. He is there to oversee the proceedings, protect the creditors and enforce the bankruptcy code (law). Don't hate the players, hate the game.

Remember AA brethren, employers get what they pay for.

- Passenger w/a problem? NOT your job Captain.

- Greetings at the L1 door. Not required Captain.

- PA announcements? Not today.

- Paperwork messed up? No phone calls required. Handed back to gate Agent. Do it again SOC/Dispatch.

- Proactive in any capacity? A thing of the past.

- Sick Time - Yes.

- Vacation Time - You bet.

- Family Leave for several weeks ? Necessary for "Family Issues". Can NOT be denied under Federal Law.

Your Job Description/ License reads:

" Airline Transport Pilot "

You fly airplanes from A to B.

That's it. No more. no less.

Good luck and have fun with it....You collectively did the right thing by voting against slitting your own throats.

Make 'em work for it, while you barely do.....
