COMAIR Pilots get $31,000 each severance

depending on where you are on the seniority list, $31K is either 3 months salary or more than 1 year salary! Either way, in any type of business job, 3 months severance is really good these days.
 
I don't know, for a subcontractor, it's seems better than average.... how much did the ACA pilots get when they went kaput?

We didn't get severance.... just our final paychecks mailed to our home addresses on file.

About 5 years later, we received a settlement for unused sick and vacation days. Out of about $5000 worth of sick and vacation time, I received a check for $25. (pennies on the dollar).

The only folks who "make out" in these situations are the lawyers..... :banghead:
